Before You Begin
Wash Your Hands
Thoroughly wash hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds before handling the pen.
Check Temperature
Remove the pen from the fridge 30 minutes before use. Never inject cold solution — allow it to reach room temperature.
Inspect the Pen
Check the solution — it should be clear and colourless. Do not use if discoloured, cloudy, or if the pen appears damaged.
Gather Supplies
Have your alcohol swabs, sharps container, and a cotton ball ready before you begin the injection.
Choose Your Time
Administer at the same time each day for best results. Morning administration is recommended for optimal energy benefit.
Choose Injection Site
Recommended sites: abdomen (2 inches from navel), outer thigh, or back of upper arm. Rotate sites each injection.
Injection Steps
Follow these steps carefully in order. Take your time — there is no need to rush.
Remove the Cap
Hold the pen body firmly in one hand. With the other hand, pull the outer cap straight off — do not twist. Set the cap aside safely. You will see the inner needle shield. Do not touch the needle.
Clean the Injection Site
Using one of the included alcohol swabs, clean a 5cm area of skin at your chosen injection site. Use a circular motion from the centre outward. Allow the skin to air dry completely for 10–15 seconds before proceeding.
Pinch the Skin
Using your non-dominant hand, gently pinch a fold of skin between your thumb and forefinger at the cleaned injection site. This lifts the subcutaneous tissue away from the muscle, ensuring correct injection depth.
Insert the Pen
Hold the pen at a 45–90 degree angle to the skin surface. Firmly press the pen tip against the pinched skin until you hear a soft click — this indicates the needle has been activated. Hold the pen steady against the skin.
Deliver the Dose
With the pen firmly pressed against the skin, press the injection button slowly and steadily with your thumb. Hold the button depressed and count to 10 seconds to ensure the full dose is delivered. You may feel slight pressure — this is normal.
Remove & Dispose
Lift the pen straight away from the injection site. The needle will automatically retract into the safety shield. Do not rub the injection site — gently apply a cotton ball if needed. Immediately place the used pen into your sharps disposal container.
Aftercare
Apply Light Pressure
If bleeding occurs, apply gentle pressure with a cotton ball for 30–60 seconds. Do not rub — this can cause bruising.
Monitor the Site
Some mild redness, swelling, or itching at the injection site is normal and should resolve within a few hours.
Stay Hydrated
Drink plenty of water after your injection to support cellular absorption and minimize any mild side effects.
Record Your Dose
Note the date, time, and injection site in your treatment log to maintain an accurate record for your clinical team.

Recommended Dosing Schedule
Consistency is key to achieving optimal NAD+ levels. Follow this protocol for best results.
Week 1–2
Daily
Loading phase — administer one injection every day to rapidly build NAD+ levels.
Week 3–4
3×/week
Maintenance phase — inject every other day (Mon, Wed, Fri) to sustain elevated NAD+ levels.
Month 2+
2×/week
Long-term maintenance — reduce to twice weekly to maintain optimal NAD+ levels indefinitely.
Personalise Your Protocol
The above schedule is a general guideline. Your clinical team may adjust your dosing frequency based on your individual health goals, baseline NAD+ levels, and response to therapy. Always follow your prescriber's specific instructions.
